Camp Prices 2012

Our feeding program, hayrides and other events are FREE! Check the EVENTS page for details.

All camping rates are based on 1-2 adults and their dependents under the age of 18, staying under 1 roof. CHARGES ARE PER UNIT, NOT PER SITE. Max. 2 units per site, at the judgment of management. Dogs, non-motorized boats or more than 2 adults under the same roof are $2. each per night. Motorized boats are $5. each per night. Maximum dog or boat charge, $20. per visit.

Sorry, no refunds.

There is a non-refundable reservation fee of $10. per unit.

All prices are in Canadian dollars.

Dump station fees are included with the camping prices.

Weekends are a 2 night package, long weekends are a 3 night package.
Single night stays are not available on weekends.

VISITORS are considered day-users and must register at the store. See Day-Use for prices.

NEW! Guests camping by the month now get a complimentary day visitor pass good for the duration of your stay!

RESERVATIONS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED! Please call ahead with your Visa or Mastercard to secure a spot and speed up registration.

All fees are run through on the credit card at the time of booking. Monthly stays-$100.-non-refundable deposit, applied to the first month's rent which is due on arrival.

There is a non-refundable $10. reservation fee processed at the time of booking. This is a separate fee.

CANCELLATIONS

One full week's notice prior to arrival or the first night remains on the credit card.

ALL LONG WEEKENDS-one full week's notice prior to arrival or the long weekend base rate remains on the credit card.

Sites will not be held after 9 pm without prior arrangement. All guests must be checked in by 11 pm.

The reservation fee is non-refundable.

Day-Use Prices 2012

The term day-use refers to any guests coming to use the resort for the day, not for overnight.

THIS INCLUDES VISITORS TO CAMPERS. Day-use is available from 7 am to 10:30 pm. Sorry, but in order to maintain our quiet campground reputation no day-users or visitors will be admitted after 10 pm and all day-users must depart by 10:30 pm.

Day-users are asked to park and picnic in the designated day-use area but then are welcome to use any unreserved recreation areas and join in any campground-wide programs or special events.
Be sure to pick up your Events Sheet at the office!


Late boats may have search & rescue response-Please leave on time!

BOATS INCLUDE; car-toppers, trailered boats, canoes, kayaks, windsurfers, rafts, inflatables, jetskis, sailboats, paddleboats, etc.

MULTI-USE PASSES - If you will be coming more than once or twice this season a multi-use pass may be your most economical choice.
FIRST TIME? Get a single use pass and if you decide to "move on up" that day, bring your receipt to the store before you go home and we'll adjust the price accordingly on your new multi-use pass!

5 X PASS - $50
Includes car and driver, passengers in the same vehicle and a boat. For each dog add $10. This punchcard can be used for 1 vehicle 5 times or any combination that equals 5.

10 X PASS - $80
Includes car and driver, passengers in the same vehicle and a boat. For each dog add $20.
This punchcard can be used for 1 vehicle 10 times or 2 vehicles 5 times or any combination that equals 10.

UNLIMITED - $90
Come everyday that we are open if you like!
Includes car and driver, passengers in the same vehicle and a boat. For each dog add $20.
This pass is good for one vehicle. It is non-transferable.

Dogs
$2. per entry and must be on a leash, under control and immediately scooped after. They are not allowed in buildings or on the swim beach. They may swim off of the boat beach which is north of the boat launch.

LAKE LEVEL 
Most years, shallow-hulled boats up to about 16' get in. Call and listen to our voice mail message or check out our Facebook page for current information.  Updates are posted regularly while we are open. The fishing is good for walleye and pike. For more fishing information check out the Fishing section on the Common Questions page.

ALL watercraft are considered boats and are $2. each per night to a maximum of $20. per craft per visit.

Examples include but are not limited to; trailered boats, car-toppers, inflatables, canoes, kayaks, jetskis, seadoos, windsurfers, kite-surfers, sailboats, catamarans etc.

Lake levels, conditions, wind and weather are variable, please call ahead and listen to our message or check out our Facebook page.

We have a NEW storage area with easy to find spaces!
DAILY-$4.
WEEKLY-$20.
MONTHLY-$55.

Prices are subject to change and do not include the 5% GST.

WINTER STORAGE 2012/13

Winter storage will be available for $300. plus GST. (Price to be confirmed.) There are no in and out options for our winter storage area.  The price covers storage between September and the first weekend in May 2013.  If you want to arrive between September 10 and Thanksgiving (October 8) you must make an appointment as the park is closed then. No parking is available after Thanksgiving.

Ways to Save

All unserviced rates have remained at last year’s levels!

Weekly and monthly rates are a great way to save!

Our weekly rates give you 7 nights for the price of 6.
Monthly rates are the same as paying for about 24 nights. That's like a free week! Day visitors are now included in the monthly rate!
NEW! Stay Sunday to Thursday nights: 5 nights for the price of 4 (Not available if one of the nights is part of a long weekend.)

Weeknights are cheaper than weekends.

Shoulder season camping is discounted: May 4 to June 14th and Sept. 3th to 8th inclusive.

Seniors get a 10% discount on weeknights during the shoulder season (ages 65+).
Discounts cannot be combined.
Returning groups qualify for special thank you gifts and pricing.
Valid on bookings made before May 4.

Free Things to do at the Resort

There are so many things to do……

Check out our bird blind-The Wetland Watch has a viewing area, seats and signs explaining the wetland north of the park. 

Check out the prairies-The Gully Gazing area on the south side of the park is now complete. This small area overlooking the prairies has seating and information about the area.

Come to our daily farm feeding program or weekend hayride.

All of our EVENTS are free to registered day-users or campers.

There are always lots of kids to play with on the weekends.

All our recreation fields, except for mini-golf, are free. 

Bring your own horseshoes, basketballs, etc.
If you don’t have your own then you can rent ours.

We have lots of open space; bring a football, soccer ball, or ball and gloves.

Bocci is popular too.

Fly a kite, but not under the power lines at the east end of the park-look up first!

Birdwatch, we are on a minor flyway so get some unusual birds.
Fish for walleye, pike or perch.  Pick up your fishing license in Strathmore first though!

Come get an activity sheet.
The activity room has non-electronic play space. 
You can borrow puzzles and games from the Welcome Centre.

Read a book or magazine from the trade-a-book library.
Borrow a DVD.

Play human chess or hopscotch or volleyball or badminton, we have them all!

Decorate your site for July long weekend, you might win a prize.

Go to one of the two playgrounds.

So much to do, so few weekends!
